With offices across the world, Korn Ferry offers their clients a full suite of talent strategy and consulting services. After the acquisition of Hay Group, their operations fell into three distinct divisions, which they wanted to sit under the same brand umbrella.
Korn Ferry already had a clearly defined brand. The challenge was to ensure that every document and presentation across the organisation reflected that brand consistently. We also had to bear in mind that the details of this brand would be unfamiliar to many of the people using our proposed templates.
We worked closely with the Vice President of Corporate Marketing in the US and the UK Corporate Marketing Manager, as well as liaising with the IT departments in both countries.
As always, our solution was user-centric. The brand was a very graphic one which offered a choice of colour pairings. With our solution, the user simply had to choose one combination and the custom PowerPoint or Word template would do the rest, applying the brand consistently across the presentation or document.
Our solution also added a tool that saved users time by enabling them to download iconography, diagrams and illustrations into their work from a library of pre-built content.
With such a complicated challenge, it was important that the proposed solution would hit the ground running. So, we created a ‘beta version’ which was tested to provide proof of concept before we rolled out the full project across the entire business.
To get the users on board, we also created a set of user guides and videos that demonstrated exactly how the new templates were going to make their lives easier.
